STUDIO MAKEOVER

I've had such a fun time making over my craft trailer/studio!! I enjoy seeing before and after photo's, so thought it would be fun to share some with you.

I began by taking everything out and adding shelves, (got them through Craigs List..all for $100.00).  Next I attached backing boards to a couple antique screen door frames and attached them to the ceiling as end caps , then antiqued them in a pale gold and off white.  I attached conduit as curtain rods, and made walls of curtains, (to hide my supplies).  I added a ruffled skirt to my old industrial sewing machine, and covered a box to fit over the machine. I found the fabric for less than $3.00 per yard!!

The tan colored metal cabinet I turned into a seating area was a free find, and the cabinet and large mirror were garage sale finds. I painted the little 6 drawer dresser in a soft off white and mellow yellow.

I had lots of fun with all the mirrors I've aquired over the years,(even the 70's green one matched the green in my fabric perfectly).

Last but not least I painted a couple dress form stands I had, and turned an antique lamp stand into a base for another. It was soooo much fun!

I have  a long folding table that I'll set up as a workspace.

Now the tricky part....getting all of my stuff back in!!

I hope you enjoy looking.

I have a long folding table I'll set up as a work space. I hope to have an open house every so often and I'll be able to put the table away and set up some displays.

Now comes the tricky part...getting all of my stuff to fit back in..LOL!

Lovely job. I am so impressed. I can't believe you did most of the shelving yourself! Way to go.
